NSW Annual liquor licence fees

23 August 2016

Liquor & Gaming NSW has cancelled the liquor licences of those licensees who failed to pay by the due date of Monday, 25 July 2016.

Licensees can apply to the Secretary of the NSW Department of Justice for a reinstatement of their licence. The outstanding fee plus an application fee of $250 are payable to reinstate cancelled licenses.

The Secretary may waive or refund all or part of the fee for a reinstatement of a cancelled licence in any circumstances that the Secretary considers appropriate.
Applications for a reinstatement have been open since Tuesday, 26 July 2016. Licensees can apply for a reinstatement through the Paying your annual fee page of the Liquor& Gaming NSW website.

Fee reinstatement applications for 2016 close on Monday, 19 September 2016.

It is against the law to sell or supply liquor or operate gaming machines if a licence is cancelled.
