Eastern Beaches Accord shares creative new campaign
Following the successful roll out through the local area of their campaign addressing Fail to Quit laws, the Eastern Beaches Liquor Accord has offered to share resources with other Accords.

The Accord received widespread approval from both stakeholders and patrons for the highly creative approach of the education and awareness campaign, which focuses on the $550 fine for failing to leave premises when directed under the Fail to Quit Laws.

Two distinct target groups were identified - younger patrons aged 18-30, and patrons over 40.

Members identified that many patrons were not aware of the fine applicable and particularly the ‘mature’ market, 40+ age group, were not aware of the laws relating to patron behaviour.

The differences between the two target groups meant that a dual message approach was required.

In the wake of the success of the Making a Scene Doesn’t Make You a Mega-Star (youth market) and Win Respect or Lose $550  (mature market) campaigns, Eastern Beaches Liquor Accord have offered to make their suite of A4 posters, A6 hand-outs, coasters, and electronic imagery available to any other Accords who wish to use them.

Accords who are interested in taking up this offer can contact Lyndall Lee Arnold, the Project Officer who developed the campaign by emailing projectofficer@ebla.org.au or by calling 0414 681 177.
