Ensure your Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate is from an accredited RTO

26 March 2021

VCGLR approved training organisations provide students with a VCGLR branded certificate upon completion of their Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) course, allowing them to work in licensed venues in Victoria.

Any other certificates are not accepted by inspectors.

RSA training is mandatory for certain types of liquor licences but as best practice, all staff should be RSA trained.

Only three RTOs are currently approved by the VCGLR to deliver online RSA:

  • Access All Areas Training is one of them!

Before enrolling for any RSA course, check the provider is approved by the VCGLR.

Watch out for the websites that offer low-cost online courses as these are not approved by the VCGLR and don’t entitle you to work in licensed premises in Victoria. Always check that you are going to get the right RSA certificate before you pay for your course.
